Due to some work being done on our house I am confined to the bedroom in the day. With no access to my sewing machine but with time to kill I am having to remember how to do this hand sewing lark. It has made me appreciate the lovely small neat stitches my machine makes!
Decided to make some birds from 'Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts' by Joelle Hoverson as these are one of the few things that it is easier to hand sew than machine in my opinion due to the curved nature of the seams. They definately look homemade but I still assert that this is no bad thing so long as they don't look like they are falling apart!
